I was back at college, I was leaving a class when someone came up next to me. I started to walk towards my apartment and went inside. The next morning the same person was there. I started to walk to school. When more people showed up. They pushed me into another apartment. There I met a skinnier lady. She was talking with me about how I need to help them with their plan. The man next to her said they needed money for their treatment. I pleaded with her trying to get her to understand my life and how important I am. Im a teacher and I just need to call into work to tell them I won't be making it. I cannot let my kids down they love seeing me. She told me it was okay and that I was good to call them. As I picked up my phone to call my principal I decided to call my friend instead. I knew that she had everyone's contact information and could reach out to literally everyone I needed to tell. I called her and told her that I cannot make it into work today. I need to use a personal day. Please just listen use my sub plans they have been prepared by me and another teacher. She should have them ready. The students should be okay. I told her thank you and I have to go. The whole time I could hear her in the background asking questions but I kept along with the script in my head. She picked up on what was going on pretty quickly knowing this is absolutely not normal and I couldn't talk. I hung up the phone and walked back up the stairs where the lady was at. I was told we were headed outside. They kept walking back and forth to pizza hut waiting for it to open. It kept being closed. This was odd to me since it was noon. One of the times we went back to their apartment. I asked the lady again if I could make a phone call to my cousin who is basically a mom to me. If anything were to happen she would be devastated. She said that it would be okay. I called her and had background music while the phone dialed to her (abnormal she doesn't have that) and she didn't pick up. I was bummed out that I couldn't say goodbye because I have no idea what their plan is but I had a feeling that I wouldnt make it out of here alive. We walked again and it was still closed. When i got back i checked my phone it had been recording a voicemail. Another person came in and seen that there was a recording. I quickly explained that it was a voicemail anf ive deleted it. She grabbed my phone to look it over. I told her she could keep the phone i dont need it to prove to her my alliance. She tossed the phone on the ground about to smash it when a new person walked in and said its time to go. Once we almost reached pizza hut they made a turn towards a hill. I heard sirens and knew I was going to get away Now safely. Instead of it being a cop it was a vehicle for the nursing home. They went down to these rich people's houses. They blew off the garage and nothing was in there besides a few bags of junk. They couldn't leave empty handed so they went and blew off the other side. There still was nothing. The cops showed up. They needed to figure out another plan and so they took off running. I was left alone. I needed to go back for my phone. The cops were already in there. I walked in and grabbed my phone. They wouldnt let me leave. While there they were already searching one of the apartments. When I looked inside I could seen one of the people from the whole scheme (the girl and guy who met up with me once after school then again nect to the suffering skinny lady). I started to feel this really intense pain from my lower abdomen. I knelt down in pain. Eventually it got so bad I was curled on the floor. As the actual cop was about to call for someone else the man grabbed a pot and smashed the cop over the head. Whilst they were rustling i was trying to finish the dialing of 911 to get me help. I tried to dial the number, but with each number I pressed it would show up differently. It wasn't working. The women student helped me up. We went back to her place and then in her head things seemed to jump between us. She was latched on me. We were walking back to class and she was holding my arm. I told her that I needed to use the bathroom. She wanted to go with me. I stated that I needed my space. Then we left the bathroom and went into this room. The other guy was running towards us. I slammed the door. Separating me from everyone else. The man hollered through the door stating that I cannot be in there since there is national secrets in there that I dont have the clearance to see. I didnt care about them instead I found another way out. I ran taking off trying to reach my car. When I looked back he was chasing me. I tried running faster. Then when I got a good lead I looked back and he was getting into a vehicle coming straight towards me. I climbed over some cans and quickly got into my car. Though my car wouldnt move since the cans were surrounding the vehicle. I quickly leaped out if the vehicle running into the basement of a new apartment building. I knocked on a door and the person opened the door. I ran in trying to catch my breathe and explain that a man was chasing me. She got another knock on her door saying it was her son and she needed to let him in. I got a glance and seen that it was the man who was chasing me all along. That is when I woke up from my dream.
Dreams often serve as a canvas for our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and anxieties. Your dream is rich with symbolism and narrative, suggesting several layers of meanings related to your current life circumstances, feelings, and overall psyche. Here's a detailed interpretation of your dream:
Interpretation: The college setting could signify a time of learning, growth, and transition in your life. It may represent your pursuit of knowledge or a phase where you are grappling with responsibilities and expectations, perhaps tied to your role as a teacher. There may be unresolved issues from your past that are surfacing, indicating a desire or need to reflect on your foundational experiences.
Interpretation: The appearance of strange individuals, particularly the skinny lady and the man discussing a plan, may symbolize aspects of yourself or external pressures that feel demanding. They could represent your fears, insecurities, or obligations that weigh on you. There is a sense of urgency and perhaps a feeling of being coerced into participating in something you are uncomfortable with, reflecting personal or professional situations in your waking life where you might feel overwhelmed or unprepared.
Interpretation: The act of trying to call your principal, then a friend, illustrates your desire for support and reassurance. You are striving to communicate your needs and responsibilities, highlighting a balance between your personal life and professional life. The background questions from your friend suggest your anxiety about being misunderstood or having to justify yourself. This may relate to feelings of inadequacy or being stretched too thin.
Interpretation: Throughout the dream, there is a recurring theme of confusion (e.g., dialing 911 and it not working). This can symbolize feelings of helplessness and a lack of control in a particular situation in your life. It may reflect deeper anxieties about your role as a teacher, combined with the societal expectations placed upon you, leaving you feeling trapped or confined by your obligations.
Interpretation: The chase towards the end of the dream signifies a confrontation with your fears or issues that you have been avoiding. The man pursuing you could represent unresolved conflicts or internal pressures. The frantic escape illustrates your instinctual response to avoid confronting these fears, underscoring feelings of vulnerability or danger regarding something in your waking life.
Interpretation: The repeated instances of seeking help (the woman’s house, the phone calls) alongside feelings of threat highlight a struggle with trust and the idea of safety. The juxtaposition of perceived safety when seeking help (like when you knock on doors) and the fear of betrayal suggests grappling with who to trust in your situation. The notion of someone appearing as a ‘betrayer’ echoes natural human concerns about support—who is a friend and who might not have your best interests at heart?
Your dream reflects a multitude of emotions—fear, anxiety, the desire for safety, and the challenge of claiming your space and voice. It's a journey through navigating personal challenges and responsibilities, filled with the symbolism of external pressures and internal conflicts. The chaotic dynamics of your dream might suggest that it's time to evaluate your current situation, redefine boundaries, and reach out for necessary support as you grapple with your roles in life. It may be beneficial to assess areas of your life reflecting confusion or unease, find ways to assert your needs, and ensure you have a support system that you can rely on when overwhelmed.
